Hatch Chili Flank Steak with Chimichurri
A Dinner Match Made in Heaven. Steak seasoned in our El Dinero Hatch Chili Verde Taco Seasoning and Rub paired with Garlic, Shallot, and Serrano Peppers this dinner will be one for the books.
2 Lbs – Flank Steak
4 T – El Dinero - Hatch Chili Verde Taco Seasoning & Rub
4 Cloves – Garlic
1 – Shallot
½ Bunch – Cilantro
¼ C – Oregano, fresh
½ - Serrano Pepper
1/3 C – Red Wine Vinegar
½ C – Olive Oil
Trim steak and season generously with El Dinero
Preheat grill to high heat.
Make the chimichurri by mincing the garlic, shallot and serrano pepper. Chop the fresh oregano and cilantro and combine in a bowl with the minced shallot, garlic and pepper. Stir in the vinegar and oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Grill the steak to the temperature of your liking.
Allow the steak to rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing thinly and on a bias.
Top with chimichurri and enjoy!
