Mac 'N Cheese Sausage Kit makes 10 lbs of homemade mac-and-cheese-flavored sausage links with cheddar cheese and rich butter notes. Includes mac-and-cheese seasoning, real pasta pieces, and natural sheep casings. Built for fresh pork, beef, venison, or any protein you choose. Comfort-food sausage in a kit. Each package contains enough for a 10 lb. batch of bratwursts.

How To Use

You will need: 10 lbs of fresh ground meat (fresh pork, beef, venison or any protein you choose), plus the contents of this kit.

Kit contents: No. 353 Mac & Cheese Seasoning, Real Pasta Pieces, Natural Hog Casing Home Pack.

Suggested Procedure:

  1. Soak casings in warm water for 60-80 minutes before stuffing.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat with the seasoning packet. Mix thoroughly until evenly distributed and the meat becomes tacky (3-5 minutes).
  3. Fold the pasta pieces into the seasoned meat, just until evenly distributed.
  4. Load soaked casings onto your stuffer horn. Stuff into links of your desired size.
  5. Cook fresh sausages to an internal temperature of 160°F. Refrigerate or freeze any uncooked sausages immediately.
