Poor Man's Tartare
A well known appetizer in Europe and the US normally made with steak is now affordable and delicious! Made with High Quality Ground Beef, mustard, fresh parsley, and our Buried Treasure Truffle Butter seasoning served on cocktail rye bread these sliders will be a hit at your holiday party!
1 Lb – Ground Beef, High Quality
2 – Egg Yolks
2 t – Sherry Vinegar
½ t – Ground Mustard
¼ C – Shallot, Minced
2 T – Chopped Parsley
¼ C – Olive Oil
2 T – Capers, chopped
½ t – Buried Treasure - Truffle Butter
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the yolks, sherry vinegar, ground mustard minced shallots, capers and chopped parsley. Mix well with a whisk.
While whisking, slowly drizzle the olive oil into the mixture to create an emulsion.
Add cold meat to the mixture and combine by hand, using gloves.
Combine until just incorporated.
Serve with cocktail rye and enjoy!
