Ingredients
-
2 LB – 16/20 size Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
-
1 – Onion (cut into 1” squares)
-
2 – Bell Peppers (cut into 1” squares)
-
2 TB – On The Rocks Steak Seasoning
-
½ Cup – Notorious P.I.G BBQ Sauce
Directions
Build your shrimp kebabs. Start with a shrimp, skewering first just above the tail and then again through the body. This helps keep the shrimp in a “C” shape and prevents it from spinning on the skewer.
- Add a chunk of onion, followed by a chunk of bell pepper. Repeat this pattern until the skewer is full. Continue with the remaining shrimp and vegetables.
Season the skewers generously with On The Rocks seasoning.
Preheat your grill for indirect cooking at about 350°F.
- Place the skewers over indirect heat and cook until the shrimp is almost cooked through.
- Move the skewers over direct heat to char the shrimp and vegetables.
Just before removing from the grill, baste the skewers with Notorious P.I.G. BBQ Sauce and let it caramelize for about 1 minute.
Remove from the grill and let the skewers rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.
Enjoy your grilled shrimp kebabs with BBQ glaze.
