This head of cauliflower is getting a makeover! Tangy basted florets rest in a cast iron covered in melted cheddar. Need we say more...!
Preheat grill to medium high heat.
Remove excess leaves from the cauliflower and then cut into 1” steaks.
Rub the steaks with oil and season with Black Gold.
Grill the steaks on each side about 3-4 minutes. Baste the steaks with Memphis King Tangy BBQ Sauce.
Remove from the grill with the cauliflower steaks are well marked and slightly tender.
Cut of the cauliflower florets and lay in a medium cast-iron pan in a single layer.
Sprinkle ½ of the cheese. Then layer the remaining cauliflower, followed by the remaining cheese.
Place the cast iron on the grill with the lid closed for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and just starts to brown.
Allow to rest for a few minutes before garnishing with green onion.
