Ingredients
-
2 Racks – Pork Back Ribs
-
¼ Cup – Maple Syrup
-
1 Cup – Gingerbread BBQ Rub
-
1 Stick – Butter
Frosting
-
8 oz – Cream Cheese (softened)
-
1 Stick – Butter (Softened)
-
1 TB – Vanilla
-
4 Cup – Powdered Sugar
Directions
Preheat your smoker to 250°F.
Trim the pork back ribs as needed, then slice them into single-bone sections for easy serving.
Drizzle the ribs with maple syrup and toss until evenly coated.
Generously season all sides with PS Seasoning Gingerbread BBQ Rub, ensuring an even layer of spice on every rib.
Place the ribs directly on the smoker and smoke for 2–3 hours, or until a deep, flavorful bark has formed.
Transfer the ribs to a foil pan, add 1 stick of butter cut into tabs, and cover tightly with foil.
Return to the smoker and cook for another 1–2 hours, or until the ribs are tender and pull apart easily.
Remove from the smoker and rest at room temperature while preparing the frosting.
In a stand mixer, combine the softened butter, cream cheese, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed at first, then increasing to medium until the frosting is fluffy and fully blended.
Arrange the ribs on a platter and serve with a side of cream cheese frosting for dipping.
Enjoy these smoky-sweet Gingerbread Party Ribs, a bold holiday twist that blends barbecue flavor with dessert-inspired flair.
