Smoked Bourbon Turkey Legs
What's better than a meat treat? A meat treat with a handle. These Smoked Bourbon Barrel Turkey Legs are smoked low and slow until perfectly tender and basted with our Bourbon Barrel BBQ sauce. The sauce thickens up into delicious caramelized layers, just don't forget the napkins.
Smoked Bourbon Turkey Legs

Turkey Legs (about 6 legs) |
2 T |
Olive Oil |
1 T | Kosher Salt |
1 tsp | Black Pepper, ground |
3/4 cup | Bourbon Barrel - Whiskey BBQ |
Instructions:
- Preheat smoker or grill to 225° F.
- Place turkey legs on a sheet tray, coat with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
- Place turkey legs directly on the grate, and cook for 1 ½ hours.
- Baste with Bourbon Barrel every 15 minutes for another 45 to 60 minutes, until the internal temperature is 170° F. Remove from the smoker/grill, and allow to rest for 10 minutes, then serve warm.
