Ultimate Chip Chicken Wings
Prep time: 25 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
|4 Lb||Chicken - Wing, Flat, and Drummies|
|3/4 Cup||Kosher Salt|
|3 T||Garlic- Minced|
|1 T||PS Good Fella|
|1/2 Gallon||Ice Cubes|
|1 1/2 Cup||Jackpot Carolina BBQ Sauce (choose favorite PS Sauce)|
|1 Bag||Salted Pretzels (choose chip of choice)|
To make the brine, bring ½ gallon of water to a boil.
Add the salt, garlic, herbs and sugar. Return to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the sugar and salt are fully dissolved.
Remove from heat and add the ice cubes to rapidly cool the brine. You do NOT want to put hot brine on the wings otherwise they will start to cook.
In a bucket or tub large enough, place with wings and pour the brine over them until just covered.
Allow the brine to sit on the wings for at least 4 hours and up to 48 hours.
Remove the wings from the brine, rinse and then pat dry with paper towel.
Set air fryer to 390 degrees and fry the wings in batches for 13 minutes or until they are crispy.
Toss the wings in the Jackpot Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce (favorite PS Sauce) and then toss them in the crumbled Pretzel (favorite chip). Enjoy!
