Spiked Apple Cider
Pour me a cup of that! A warm and cozy cup of Apple Pie spices in a cup of sweet apple cider plus a shot of Whiskey for extra warmth! Great on a cool day, a fall day or just for fun this Spiked Cider will hit the spot.
1/2 Gallon Apple Cider
1/4 C Apple Pie Cinnamon Spice Rub
8 Oz Whiskey/Bourbon
In a saucepan, bring the apple cider to a low simmer.
Stir in the apple pie rub. The cider will bubble up when adding the rub, so add it slowly while stirring constantly.
Return the cider to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes to fully dissolve the rub.
In a mug, pour 1 ounce of whiskey, followed by 6-8oz of apple pie cider.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and enjoy!
