Hot Honey Shrimp

Sweet honey, spicy Nashville Hot Chicken rub, and rich butter give these roasted shrimp a rich and flavorful kick. Even better, the dish comes together in minutes, making it an ideal after-work meal or extremely speedy appetizer. Spoon on top of white rice, grits, or into a crusty baguette for an epic 'Po Boy.

1 lb. 

Shrimp, peeled & deveined

1 T

Honky Tonk Hot Chicken Rub
1T Honey
Lime, zest & juice
2 T Butter, cubed
1 T Cilantro, chopped
1 T Scallions, chopped



  1. Preheat oven to 500° F.

  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together Nashville Hot Chicken, honey, lime juice and zest. Add shrimp and toss to coat with seasoning.

  3. Transfer shrimp to a large cast iron skillet and top with cold butter. Place in the hot oven and cook for 5 minutes.

  4. Remove from the oven and garnish with cilantro and scallions. Serve hot with rice, if desired.
