Ingredients

8 Brioche Hamburger Buns

8 Eggs

2 C Milk
-
1/2 C Heavy Cream

1/2 C Brown Sugar

1/4 C Sugar

2 t Apple Pie Cinnamon Spice Rub

6 Oz Cream Cheese
-
1/2 C Flour
-
1/2 C Brown Sugar

1 t Cinnamon

1 Stick Butter- Salted
Topping
Directions
Cut the brioche buns into 1” cubes and set aside.
Combine the eggs, milk, cream, ½ cup brown sugar, sugar and Apple Pie Rub in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
Combine the bread and the liquid and gently fold together by hand, try to keep the pieces of bread intact as best you can. They will still crumble.
Allow to sit and absorb while the oven preheats and you make the topping.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, combine the butter, ½ cup brown sugar, flour and cinnamon and cut together with a fork or a pastry cutter.
Lightly grease a 9”X13” pan with cooking spray.
Gently pour out ½ of the bread mixture into the pan and spread out over the bottom.
Take ½ of the cream cheese and break into small balls and spread them out over the mixture.
Evenly distribute the remaining bread mixture over the top. Top with remaining cream cheese.
Sprinkle the butter and flour crumble topping over the top of the dish.
Place in the oven and bake for 45-55 minutes or until the toothpick test comes clean.
Allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving with butter and maple syrup.
