Gather the family around for some good old fashioned caroling! Oh breakfast bake, oh breakfast bake, how scrumptious are your fillings! Rise and shine as you dive in to a yummy slice of egg bake.
2 C Milk
12 Oz Breakfast Sausage
8 Oz Bacon
10 Oz Baby Spinach
2 Small Onions- Julienned
3 Clove Garlic- Minced
1 C Tomato- Diced
2 t Buried Treasure Truffle Butter
Chop bacon, sausage and onion in a large sauté pan. Cook over medium heat until bacon starts to crisp.
Add garlic and spinach and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the spinach is wilted. Set aside.
Cut the baguette into 1” square pieces.
Combine the eggs and milk and whisk until smooth.
Grease a 9”X13” baking pan with cooking spray and spread ½ of the bread on the bottom. Top with ½ of the spinach mixture.
Add the other ½ of the bread, followed by the other ½ of the spinach mixture.
Pour the egg mixture over the top of the dish. Gently push the bread down into the egg mixture. Allow to sit for 10 minutes.
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.
Top the dish with the chopped tomato and season with Buried Treasure. Place in the oven for 45-55 minutes or until the toothpick test comes clean.
Allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
