Ingredients
- 2 LB – Chicken Thighs, boneless/skinless

2 T – BBQ General SPG Rub
-
3 T – Candied Jalapeno Wing Sauce
- 8 Slice – Bacon
- 4 – Pretzel Buns
- 4 oz – Cream Cheese

¼ C – Candied Jalapeno Wing Sauce
- Lettuce and Tomato
- 1 – Large Onion

½ C – Buttermilk
-
1 ½ C - Flour
Directions
- Preheat grill to 350 degrees.
- Thinly slice the onions and soak them in the buttermilk.
- Trim the chicken as needed and then season with BBQ General SPG rub.
- Mix the cream cheese with ¼ cup of Candied Jalapeno Wing Sauce until well combined.
- Cook the bacon to your liking. (oven or pan fry)
- Preheat fryer to 350 degrees.
- Take the onions out of the buttermilk and allow them to drip dry for a few seconds before tossing them into a bowl with the flour.
- Coat the onions well and then fry until crispy.
- Grill the chicken thighs until 165 degrees.
- Baste the chicken with Candied Jalapeno Wing Sauce for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Build the sandwiches by smearing both the top and bottom buns with the cream cheese mixture.
- Add lettuce and tomato and then top with grilled chicken, bacon and crispy onions.
- Enjoy!
