Notorious P.I.G. BBQ Sauce for dipping
Directions
Cook the macaroni noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it reaches a gentle simmer. Do not boil.
Slowly add the shredded white cheddar cheese, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until fully coated. Season to taste with PS Seasoning Butter Blizzard Seasoning Blend.
Spread the macaroni and cheese evenly onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, flattening it into an even layer.
Refrigerate until fully chilled and firm, about 3 hours.
Once set, remove from the refrigerator and cut into 3-inch triangles or bite-sized pieces.
Prepare a breading station with three bowls:
1. Flour seasoned with 1 tablespoon Butter Blizzard Seasoning
2. Beaten eggs
3. Panko breadcrumbs- Dredge each piece in the seasoned flour, then the eggs, and finally the panko, pressing gently so the coating adheres.
Preheat a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F.
Fry the breaded macaroni and cheese bites in batches for 5–6 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined tray.
Serve hot with your favorite BBQ dipping sauce, such as Notorious P.I.G., Cherry Bomb, or Memphis King.
