You butter believe it! Bourbon Marinated Steak w/ On the Rocks Compound Butter is a steakhouse worthy plate! Tender filet cuts drenched in creamy bourbon butter and a hint of sweet citrus will have you downing this meal before happy hour ends!
Ingredients

2 Tenderloin Filets (7-8 Oz each)

1/2 Cup Bourbon

1 Stick Butter
-
1 t On The Rock Bourbon Pepper

1 t Parsley- Chopped
-
6 Cloves Garlic
-
2 Springs- Rosemary
-
1/2 t On The Rocks Bourbon Pepper
Directions
In a ziplock bag, place the steaks and the bourbon. Eliminate as much air as possible and massage the liquid into the meat for 30 seconds.
Place in the fridge to marinate for 1 hour.
Remove the steaks and pat them dry with a paper towel. Allow to sit out at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Over medium high heat, preheat a cast iron pan until just tarting to smoke.
Rub the steaks with a minimal amount of oil and season with On The Rocks.
Sear on one side for 2 minutes.
Flip the steaks and add ½ stick of butter, garlic and rosemary to the pan. Place in the oven for 5-8 minutes or until desired doneness.
While in the oven, combine the remaining butter, 1 tsp On The Rocks and parsley to make the compound butter.
Remove the steaks from the oven and allow to rest.
Add a dollop of compound butter to the top of the steak before serving.
