Our Apple Pie Baked Beans is the perfect barbecue side, adding a delicious twist that's ideal for graduation parties, family cookouts, or any outdoor gathering where you want your beans to steal the show from the main dish!
Ingredients
- 1 LB – Bacon, thick cut
- 1 – Onion, small dice
- 2 – Jalapenos, diced
- 2 Cup – Pulled Pork
- 3 – Apples, peeled and large diced
- 2 Can – Baked Beans (28 oz cans)

¼ Cup – Apple Pie Rub
Directions
- Preheat grill or smoker to 350 degrees, set up for indirect heat.
- Rough chop your thick cut bacon and place in a large cast iron dutch oven.
- Place the pot over medium heat and render the bacon.
- Add diced onion and jalapeno and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add diced apples, pulled pork, baked beans and Apple Pie rub.
- Stir until well incorporated and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and place on the grill over indirect heat.
- Cook for 2 hours or until the apples are broken down and soft. (stir occasionally)
- Remove from the grill and rest 15 minutes before serving.
- Enjoy!
