Our best-selling mahogany collagen casing is perfect for making larger diameter snack sticks and other small sausages. These durable but tender collagen casings are easy to use and can be easily hung from smokehouse sticks during processing. Each sausage casing strand will stuff about 9 lbs of meat. 

Note: These collagen casings are ready to stuff. No soaking necessary. Keep edible collagen casings refrigerated. (Will keep up to 6 months).

How To Use

  • Soak for at least 25-30 minutes in warm salt water (70-90º F) before stuffing. 
  • Can be hung in smoker or cooked until temp reaches 156º F
