Steak Tenderloin with Red Wine & Shallot Sauce

Beef tenderloin, a cut of meat made for kings, dukes, and anyone who enjoys the finer things in life. Pair it with a fine red wine and our King Shallot seasoning blend and you have a royal feast on your hands. We recommend serving this crown jewel over silky mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus. 

Steak Tenderloin with Red Wine & Shallot Sauce

Beef Tenderloin Filets, 6 oz. each

2-3 T

King Shallot - Black Garlic 

1 T

Olive Oil

½ cup

Red Wine

2 T

Butter, cold



  1. Season each side of tenderloin filet generously with King Shallot. Set aside.

  2. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and swirl it around in the bottom of the skillet. Sear tenderloin for 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium-rare and remove from pan. Allow steak to rest for 5-10 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, add wine to skillet to deglaze pan. Remove from heat and whisk in butter until a sauce forms. Serve over steak and enjoy!
