Pulled Ham

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 180 degrees on Smoke setting.
  2. Slather the ham with the maple syrup, this will be your binder.
  3. Then, season the ham generously on all sides with Notorious P.I.G. rub.
  4. Place the ham directly on the smoker and add your favorite flavor of wood for smoking.
  5. Smoke for 10-12 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. (I do this part overnight)
  6. Remove the ham from the smoker and place in a foil pan.
  7. Pour in the chicken broth and then drizzle in the Memphis King BBQ sauce.
  8. Cover with parchment and then foil.
  9. Remove the sawdust and change the setting to Cook and increase the temperature to 300 degrees.
  10. Place the ham back on the smoker and cook until the internal temperature reaches 204 degrees.
  11. Remove from the smoker and let the ham rest for 30 minutes.
  12. Shred the ham and serve with an extra drizzle of Memphis King and some slider buns.
