Italian Beef Sandwich
Mamma mia, is that for me?! You will need both hands to take down this Good Fella! Our tender herby shredded beef is stuffed into a toasted French roll and topped off with Italian relish. Go slow and savor the flavor!
4 Lb Chuck Roast
1 Onion- Julienned
1 Jar Pepperoncini- 16 Oz
2 Cups Beef Broth
1 T Good Fella Italian Herb
4 French Rolls
1 Cup Giardiniera
Place the julienned onion in the bottom of a slow cooker.
Place the chuck roast on top of the onion and then add the pepperoncini, beef broth and Good Fella.
Set the slow cooker to high and cook for 5-6 hours or until the roast is fork tender.
Remove the roast from the braising liquid and use two forks to shred the meat.
Place the meat back in the juice to hydrate.
Toast the French rolls in the oven if desired.
Stuff the roll with the shredded Italian beef and top with Giardiniera.
Serve with the left-over braising liquid for dipping. Enjoy!
