This is one burger you are going to want to get your hands on after a long night. The cure has arrived on a pretzel bun. Nothing like triple meat, egg and a shmear of Brew City to put you into a food coma. Eat, sleep and do it again!
12 Oz Ground beef
1 Brat Patties (5-6 Oz Each)
4 Slices Bacon
2 Pretzel Burger Buns
1 Onion- Julienned
4 T Butter
1/4 C Brew City Beer Mustard
Caramelize the julienned onion in a sauté pan with the butter, over medium low heat. Stir occasionally. This should take 30-45 minutes at least.
Make two burger patties out of the ground beef and season to your liking.
Grill the burger patties and the brat patties.
Pan fry the bacon until it’s cooked the way you like it.
Using the same pan, fry the eggs in the leftover bacon grease. (Over easy works well for this burger)
Toast the pretzel buns if desired.
To build the burger, start with the burger patty, then the brat patty, followed by the bacon and egg.
Drizzle the burgers with the Brew City Beer mustard and finally top with caramelized onions.
