Let’s not burrito ‘round the bush! Our Smothered Burrito is large and in charge. It is jam packed with honey adobo shredded chicken, colorful sazon rice and gooey cheese! Wait for it.... Smother the burrito in El Jefe Sauce and keep plenty of napkins on hand. This is one neato burrito!
Ingredients

2 Lbs Chicken Breasts

3 T El Jefe Adobo Honey Taco Seasoning & Rub

1 1/2 Cup Chicken Broth

1/2 Cup El Jefe Adobo BBQ Taco Sauce

4 Giant Burrito Wraps
-
1 1/2 Cup White Rice
-
3 Cups Water
-
1/2 t Sazon
-
1 Can Refried Beans
-
1 Lb Cheese Mix
-
1/2 Cup El Jefe Adobo BBQ Taco Sauce

1 Cup Sour Cream
-
1 t Lime Juice
-
2 t Cilantro- Chopped
Directions
Place the chicken breasts in a pressure cooker and season with el jefe taco seasoning. Add chicken broth and set to high and cook for 12 minutes. Allow for 5 minute natural release and then quick release after that.
Shred the chicken and stir with ¼ cup of El jefe sauce.
While the chicken is cooking make the rice with sazon seasoning added to the water.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Heat the refried beans.
Build the burritos with ¼ of the rice, meat, refried beans and a pinch of cheese inside.
Place the burritos on a sheet tray and drizzle with el jefe sauce and sprinkle more cheese.
Place in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is well melted.
Make the dipping sauce with the sour cream, lime juice and cilantro.
When the burritos come out of the oven, drizzle with more el jefe and enjoy.
