Ingredients
- 8 OZ – Cream Cheese (softened)
-
3 TB – Cherry Bomb Cherry Chipotle Rub
- 10 – Jalapenos
- 10 Slice – Bacon (not thick cut)
-
½ Cup – Cherry Bomb BBQ Sauce
Directions
- Preheat your oven or smoker or grill to 350 degrees.
- Mix the cream cheese and 2 TB of Cherry Bomb Rub until well combined.
- Cut the jalapenos down the middle, lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membrane as you please.
- Fill the jalapeno halves with the cream cheese mixture, but don’t overfill.
- Wrap each jalapeno in a slice of bacon in a spiral for good coverage.
- Sprinkle a little more Cherry Bomb Rub on the tops of the poppers.
- Place the poppers on a rack lined tray and into the smoker/grill/oven for 45-60 minutes until the bacon is rendered to your liking.
Baste the poppers with Cherry Bomb Sauce and then place back in the smoker/grill/oven for 5-10 minutes to tack on the sauce.
- Remove and rest for 10 minutes before serving.
- Enjoy!
