Something that's bold enough to add flavor to even the mildest fish, balanced enough to tame the more fishy varieties, and mild enough to not overpower its delicate flavors.

Our Tackle Box Fish Blend has all the classic seafood flavors that make it delicious when sprinkled directly on before cooking, mixed into your breading and batters, or mixed into mayo for the perfect seafood dip. The versatility of this blend also makes it great on:

Flavor Profile

Our No. 0009 seasoning blend was specifically formulated for fish, with enough spice to add flavor without overpowering the delicate meat. Some of the tools in our Tackle Box:

Mustard: Mustard powder adds a light tanginess that brightens the flavor of fish and balances out some of the heavier spices in the list.

Celery: Celery seed gives this blend its distinctive earthy notes, similar to the fresh celery that we eat.

Bay Leaf: When dried and powdered, the bay leaf has a herbal, slightly floral flavor, and somewhat similar to oregano and thyme.

Allspice: These dark, reddish-brown berries have a dynamic aroma and flavor that resembles a combination of cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. A common pairing for fish.

Recipes

For most applications, shake seasoning directly on veggies, meats or into sauces or dips. Mix into your wet batter or dry breading mix to add bold flavor to your fish fries.
