With bold Southwestern flavors and a kick of heat, this blend is a great pairing with any type of Mexican-inspired dish. The grinder top allows you to choose between a coarse grind (great for seasoning meats or topping enchiladas), or a fine grind (great for seafood, rice and margaritas).

Flavor Profile 

No. 0305 has an oasis of flavors that starts with coarse sea salt, garlic, onion and a balance of heat and savory flavors from:  

Green Bell Pepper: These unripened bell peppers have a crunchy and grassier flavor than their red, yellow or orange counterparts. When dried, they're slightly sweeter and add a distinct freshness.

Tequila: Tequila is made by distilling the fermented juices of the blue agave plant. This natural flavoring adds a fruity, earthy flavor to our cantina-inspired blend. 

Red Bell Pepper: Red bell peppers are distinctively sweet and are very mild, even when dried. The sweetness helps balance the sharpness of the garlic and black pepper. 

Red Pepper: Red pepper flakes come mainly from cayenne peppers and add both heat and flecks of color to your finished dish. Cayenne peppers have a range from 30,000-50,000 Scoville Heat Units.

Jalapeno: Many people think of the jalapeño as a very spicy hot pepper, but in terms of the Scoville scale, the jalapeño is just mild to moderate. It has a Scoville heat unit range of 2,500 to 8,000 SHU, but adds a distinct flavor.

No. 0305 comes in our adjustable grinder cap which can be pulled for a coarse grind or pushed for a finer seasoning texture. Desert Pepper is a great finishing seasoning for tacos, nachos, salads, and more. Our chef recommends grinding it onto a plate and using it to rim your margarita glass in place of standard salt.
