The ultimate surf and turf for your backyard bbq. This tomahawk steak is seasoned with our Prime Time rub and delicious grilled lobster smothered in butter.
Ingredients
- 3 LB – Tomahawk Steak
-
½ C – Prime Time Buttery Beef Rub
- 1 LB – Lobster Claws, pre-cooked
- 1 Stick – Butter
Directions
- Preheat grill to 225 degrees, set up for indirect cooking,
- Trim the tomahawk if needed and then season generously with Prime Time.
- Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes
- Insert meat probe into the thickest part of the steak and place on the cool side of the grill
- Cook until the steak reaches an internal temperature of 125 degrees
- Increase the temperature of the grill to 400 degrees
- Place the cooked lobster claws on the cool side of the grill to heat up
- Sear the steak on both sides for 2-3 minutes.
- Melt butter and serve
- Slice the steak and break open the lobster and drizzle everything with melted butter
