Grilled Flank Steak

When you're looking for an easy grilled entree that's ready in minutes, the flank steak has got you covered. This long and thin cut of meat taken from the lower chest of the steer is a versatile cut that can be cooked in a variety of ways. A tougher and leaner cut, the flank steak is great for marinating or seasoning then searing hot and fast on the grill until rare-medium rare. For maximum tenderness, slice against the grain. 

Grilled Flank Steak

Difficulty: Easy
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4-6

Ingredients:

2 lb.  Flank Steak
2 tsp Olive Oil
TT 

Chop Shop Steak Seasoning

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the grill to 450° F.

  2. Place steak on a sheet tray, then rub olive oil all over the steak and season with Chop Shop.

  3. Set the steak on the grill, over direct flame and grill 3 to 5 minutes per side, for medium-rare - depending on the thickness of the steak.  Remove the steak from the grill and allow the steak to rest for 10 minutes, then thinly slice against the grain.
