Desert Pepper Burgers
Turn the flavor up to a 10 with these fajita-style Desert Pepper burgers. Seasoned with our tequila pepper blend, the juicy beef burgers are topped with sauteed peppers and onions, queso fresco, jalapenos, and a fresh Cilantro-lime crema.

1/2 cup | Queso Fresco, crumbled |

1 T | Olive Oil |
1 cup | Bell Pepper, sliced |
1 | Red Onion, sliced |
TT | Desert Pepper Tequila Blend |
Cilantro Crema | |
1/2 cup | Sour Cream |
1 T | Mayo |
3 T | Cilantro, chopped |
1 | Scallion, chopped |
1/2 tsp | Desert Pepper Tequila Blend |
1/2 | Lime, juiced |
Instructions:
- Prepare the crema: Whisk together all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate while making the burgers.
- Preheat the grill to 425 F or set it to medium-high heat.
- Place ground beef in a mixing bowl, and season with Desert Pepper. Form 4 - ½ # patties by hand and gently press down in the middle of the patty. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add bell peppers and onion, then season with Desert Pepper. Sauté for 2 minutes, then set aside.
- Place burger patties on the grill and cook over direct flame to desired doneness, about 5 minutes on each side for medium rare.
- Transfer burgers to a bun and top with sautéed peppers and onions, queso fresco, sliced jalapeño, and cilantro crema. Serve warm.
