Ingredients
- 2 LB – Chicken Thighs, Boneless Skinless
- 3 Cup – Flour
- ½ Cup – Pecans

6 TB – Churro Rub
- 2 Cup – Buttermilk
- 1 Box – Belgian Waffle Mix
- 2 Cup – Powdered Sugar
- ¼ Cup – Maple Syrup

1 TB – Churro Rub
- Milk – As Needed
Directions
- Preheat your fryer to 350 degrees.
- Trim the chicken thighs as needed.
- Put the pecans in a food processor and chop until almost powdery.
- Add the pecans to the flour and then season with Churro Dust Rub.
- Dredge the chicken in the flour and then place in the buttermilk.
- Then place the chicken back into the flour to coat well.
- Fry at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 170 degrees and the breading is nice and crisp golden brown.
- Make the waffle according to the directions on the packaging.
- Make the glaze by combining the powdered sugar, maple syrup, Churro Dust Rub and whisking until smooth. Add milk as needed to make a smooth glaze that will easily drizzle.
- Build the plate by placing some waffles on a plate and topping with chicken. Drizzle the whole plate with the churro maple glaze and enjoy!
