Smoked Truffle Tri Tip with Truffle Butter
X marks the spot but you won’t need a map for the treasure-filled bite. Tender juicy slices of delicious tri tip are coated in our black truffle butter seasoning and smothered in a golden velvety truffle compound butter. With every forkful the treasure is multiplying in your belly!
2 Lbs Tri Tip- Trimmed
4 T Buried Treasure Truffle Butter
1 Stick Butter
2 T Buried Treasure
1 t Parsley- Chopped
Preheat the smoker to 225 degrees.
Season the tri tip generously with Buried Treasure.
Over high heat, in a pan with a little cooking oil. Sear off the tri tip on both sides.
Place on the smoker for 1 to 2 hours depending on size. Start checking the temperature of the meat after 1 hour. Remove from the smoker when the internal temp is 120 degrees.
Allow the meat to rest.
Combine softened butter with 2 T Buried Treasure and chopped parsley.
Slice the meat against the grain and on a slight bias.
Serve with the truffle butter and enjoy.
