Baked Brie Apple Crisp
Warning! This will be gone before it cools! Hot out of the oven, this Baked Brie topped with apple crisp is begging to be devoured. The traditional Thanksgiving dishes don’t stand a chance with this appetizer on the table.
8 Oz Brie Wheel
1 Apple- Diced
2 T Butter
1 T Brown Sugar
1 t Apple Pie Cinnamon Spice Rub
1/4 C Pecans- Chopped
1/2 C Old Fashioned Oats
2 T Brown Sugar
2 T Flour
1 T Apple Pie Cinnamon Spice Rub
4 T Butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the crumble topping and cut together with a fork until well combined and the butter is cut into little balls.
Place the brie in the center of a squared baking pan or cast iron.
Dice the apple and sauté over medium heat with 2 TB butter, brown sugar and apple pie rub. Cook for 4-6 minutes until just tender.
Top the brie with the cooked apples followed by the chopped pecans and the crumble topping.
Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the brie is hot and melted.
Serve with toasted banquette or crackers for dipping.
