Texas Grilled Turkey Thighs
These grilled turkey thighs are easy enough for a weeknight cookout but flavorful enough to be the centerpiece of your next backyard BBQ. The thighs are seasoned generously over and under the skin with Rodeo Rub, then cooked over indirect heat until juicy and tender. A final pass over direct flame builds a smoky char and crisp skin that pairs perfectly with the rub's bold flavor.

Ingredients
3 lb Turkey Thighs
½ cup Texas BBQ Rodeo Rub
Directions
Preheat your grill to medium high (350 degrees) set up for indirect cooking.
Trim the thighs as needed and then season generously with Rodeo Rub on all sides and under the skin.
Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before heading to the grill.
Set the thighs on the grill over indirect heat, skin side up.
Cover and cook until the internal temperature of the thighs reaches 170 degrees.
Place the thighs over direct heat to add a char to the meat and skin. Flip occasionally until your desired char.
Remove from the grill and rest 10 minutes before serving.
Enjoy!
