Taco Dip Smoked Cheeseball
Why not have both? If you love cheese and taco dip you'll love this Taco Dip Smoked Cheeseball! Smoked Cheddar and Cream Cheese seasoned with our El Jefe Taco Seasoning topped with Diced Tomatoes, Chopped green Onion, Lettuce, and Black Olives. Paired with Fritos for that crunchy bite!
16 Oz – Cream Cheese (2x pkg)
3 T –El Jefe - Adobo Honey Taco Seasoning & Rub
1 C – Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Chopped Green Onion
Sliced Black Olives
Preheat smoker to 225 degrees.
Season the blocks of cream cheese with 1 TB of El Jefe Taco Rub.
Place on a tray and then onto the smoker and smoker for 2 hours.
Allow the cream cheese to cool for 5 minutes and then put it in a mixing bowl.
Add the 2TB remaining El Jefe and the shredded cheddar cheese.
Lay out a piece of plastic wrap about 18” long.
Scoop the cream cheese into the middle of the plastic wrap and then fold in the sides.
Use your hand to form the cheese into a ball.
Place on a plate and garnish with toppings.
Serve with Fritos for scooping.
