The new party appetizer for any occasion. Pizza stuffed mushrooms are filled with cheese, pepperoni and pizza sauce for that perfect pizza in one bite.
Ingredients
24 – Cremini Mushrooms
1 C – Pizza Sauce
1 C – Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
1 C – Pepperoni, sliced
½ C – Pepperoni, diced
1 ½ t – Black Gold Garlic Pepper
Fresh Basil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Remove the stems from the mushrooms and place them in a cast iron skillet.
- Place ½ tsp of pizza sauce in each of the mushroom caps.
- Then place ½ tsp of shredded cheese in each cap.
- Place one slice of pepperoni on each cap.
- Sprinkle more cheese followed by a sprinkle of the diced pepperoni.
- Season with Black gold.
- Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the mushrooms are heated through.
- Garnish with freshly chopped basil and enjoy!
