Smoke a Cherry Bomb Chuck Roast with our Cherry Bomb BBQ Rub, a butter braise finish, and a 200°F internal pull for perfect shred. Season generously, smoke to 165°F, then wrap with butter and finish low and slow until fork-tender.

Ingredients
3 LB – Chuck Roast
1 ½ Cup – Cherry Bomb BBQ Rub
1 Stick – Butter
Directions
Preheat smoker to 250 degrees.
Pat the chuck roast dry with paper towel.
Season the chuck roast generously on all sides with Cherry Bomb BBQ Rub.
Place the roast directly on the smoker.
Smoker for 2-4 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Remove from the smoker and place in a foil pan.
Cut the butter into tabs and add to the pan.
Cover the pan with foil and place back on the smoker.
Smoke until the internal temperature reaches 200 degrees.
Remove and rest 20 minutes before shredding.
