Bacon Roses

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat your Oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Lay out a piece of bacon and stitch in a skewer to one end of the slice, this will help you roll your rose.
  3. Roll the bacon up about 1/3 of the way and then start twisting the bacon as you continue to wrap it around. The final product should look like a rose!
  4. Use a toothpick to secure the “petals” and then you can remove the skewer.
  5. Place the toothpicked roses onto a sheet tray.
  6. Season the tops of the roses with Bee Sting Hot Honey rub.
  7. Bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes until the edges of the bacon roses are dark brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow the roses to rest while you make the ganache.
  9. Add the chocolate chips and heavy cream to a microwave safe bowl.
  10. Microwave for 55 seconds.
  11. Remove and stir/whisk until smooth.
  12. Drizzle the bacon roses with the chocolate and then allow to cool.
  13. Enjoy!
