I have used this venison bacon cure for several years and it is excellent.I make at least 50# every year and most is given away as a gift, everyone loves it.

WOW..... Thats all there is to say. This is something you got to TRY. Very simple to do. You can even make it in the oven. I use my smoker with some Apple wood.... Wow!!! what a flavor it has. Awesome stuff!

This is not only easy to make but is some best tasting bacon you will find. The only thing I would do differently is use 50/50 venison to pork mix and even that is not very fatty at all.

I must admit I was hesitant to try this, but after reading the reviews from not only here, but other sources I gave it a shot. WOW! Cannot believe how delicious it is and how much it actually does taste like bacon. I did use a 15/10 venison to pork butt mix and smoke longer than what the directions state for a stronger smoke taste as I prefer. You will not be disapointed!

I used 21lbs of deer and 3lbs of pork ground 3 times and put into casings. cooked (almost fully), cooled and sliced long way so it gave strips. added liquid smoke and put pepper on it in the skillet. wow!!!! will make more of this next season. my kids love it
