Ingredients
- 1 LB – Bacon, large dice
- 1 LB – Ground Beef
- 1 – Onion
- 6 Clove – Garlic

¼ C – Brown Sugar

¼ C – Bourbon
-
2 T – Apple Cider Vinegar

1 C – Bourbon Barrel BBQ Sauce
- 2 Can – Baked Beans (28oz)
Directions
- Preheat grill, smoker or oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large pot, cook the bacon over medium/high heat until crispy.
- Remove the bacon from the pan and reserve the fat.
- Cook the ground beef in the same pan, over medium/high heat.
- Once the meat is fully cooked, strain the meat and discard the grease.
- Return the pan to medium heat and add 2 TB of the reserved bacon fat.
- Add the onions to the pan and sauté until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in apple cider vinegar, bourbon, brown sugar and Bourbon Barrel BBQ.
- Cook until the sauce simmers.
- Add the bacon, ground beef and two cans of baked beans to the pan.
- Stir until well combined and then bring to a simmer.
- Cover the pot and place in the oven for 1 hour to 75 minutes.
- Stir and serve hot!
