- Rinse meat, fish or poultry (with or without skin) shake off excess liquid.
- Roll pieces in coating or shake in resealable bag. Place on baking sheet or use baking rack for a more even crispness.
- Allow pieces to rest while preheating oven to 400°F.
- Bake until cooked through. Cooking time will vary depending on meat used.
FISH: Bake 10-20 minutes depending on thickness of fillets. Thicker pieces may take an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
POULTRY: Bake 15 to 20 minutes for small or boneless pieces. Larger, bone-in pieces may take up to 40 to 50 minutes. (Use this same guideline when baking pork).
MEAT: 1" thick slabs will bake for about 20 to 30 minutes. For larger portions, allow an assitional 10 to 15 minutes.
