How long have you been cooking?

I have been cooking since I probably was 8 or 9. Nothing too crazy, but I grew up loving the outdoors and hunting and fishing, which fostered my love for cooking! I loved the assortment of wild food and all the unique flavors and it grew from there!

How did you get interested or introduced to cooking?

My dad was always the one who cooked in the family and that started it, but my older cousin Jake was the cooking aficionado. He worked in restaurants and although I only saw him once or twice a year, he was always making an awesome meal when I saw him.

What is your best food memory?

My best food memory is definitely our family Thanksgivings. I come from a large family (over 40 first cousins), and that was always the time I saw most of them. The homemade food from the relatives on top of the great memories is something I will always cherish.

What is your favorite PS Product and why?

My favorite PS product hands down is the Thai Fighter. I make Thai duck tacos and it pairs perfectly with them!

What would you want as your last meal?

My last meal would definitely be some type of homemade southern BBQ.

What dish/meal do you make on repeat?

The one dish I always love to go back to and make is a Southern Duck Gumbo. I never have a recipe I look at for it and I change it up every time a little bit, but it’s still my favorite hands down!

"My dream is to publish an outdoors cookbook of wild game and wild foraged foods!"
