|4||Sweet Potatoes, peeled and chunked|
|1-1/2||Stick of Unsalted Butter|
|2 T||Maple Bacon Shake|
|10||Sage Leaves, fresh|
|5||Strips of Bacon, cooked and chopped|
|To taste||Salt and Pepper|
1) In a large pot, add the sweet potatoes and cover with water. Bring to a simmer and cook over medium low heat until the sweet potatoes are tender enough to be pierced with a fork, about 25 minutes. Drain.
2) Place the sweet potatoes into the bowl of a mixer and add 1 stick butter, bourbon and Maple Bacon Shake. Whip at medium speed until fluffy. Add the milk, a tablespoon at a time, until you have the consistency you desire. Spoon into a serving dish.
3) Meanwhile, heat the remaining half stick of butter in a small fry pan over medium low heat and add the sage. Fry until the sage leaves are crispy, then immediately remove from the heat.
4) Top the sweet potatoes with the crispy sage leaves, bacon and butter from frying the sage. Serve and enjoy!
