4 1/3 cups | PS Breading Mix |
4 | Eggs |
12 oz | Beer |
2 T |
Seasoned Salt |
3 lbs. | Chicken Legs and Thighs |
1 quart | Vegetable Oil for frying |
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of PS Breading Mix with Seasoned Salt. In a separate bowl, beat together the egg, beer, and remaining flour.
2. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large deep pot to 350˚F. Dip each piece of chicken first into the dry mix, then the wet mix, then once more into the wet mix.
3. Carefully place a few pieces of chicken in the fryer, taking care not to overcrowd the fryer, and fry for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown, crispy, and reaches an internal temperature of 160˚F. Drain on a wire rack, then serve.
