Recipe Video - Pumpkin Spice Candied Bacon


2 Tbsp Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend               
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Lb. Bacon


1) Preheat oven to 375°. Blend 1 Cup Brown Sugar and 2 Tbsp Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend into a large bowl; mix well and remove any clumps.

2) Place bacon strip by strip into bowl. Do about 5 to 6 strips at a time; coat each strip completely with sugar/spice blend. Place on a plate until you have coated all the bacon strips.

3) Lay a sheet of parchment paper over large baking sheets. Place bacon strips in a single layer on paper and sprinkle with additional Pumpkin Pie Spice; place in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until bacon is caramelized.

4) Once bacon has completely caramelized, remove and place on cooling rack or clean parchment paper to cool. 

Tip: Place a baking rack over parchment paper and lay bacon strips on rack, then bake. This may help cook bacon more evenly in less time.

Note: For best results, it's important that the bacon be cooked in single a single layer on baking sheets with no overlapping. You will need a couple baking sheets tin order to cook the whole lb. of bacon. Bacon cooking times may vary depending on the type of bacon you purchase and your oven. Begin with 30 minutes.
